WWF EU is commissioning a desk-based study analysing the benefits of traceability in supply chains of forest-risk commodities. pThe consultant will produce a technical report and factsheets evaluating the benefits of traceability for different stakeholders in supply chains of forest risk commodities covered by the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The assignment involves (full Terms of Reference in the attached document): /p liIdentifying and analysing case studies of implemented traceability initiatives from governments, sectors or companies /li liProposing and applying a framework to characterise benefits across geographies and supply chains /li liConducting literature reviews and semi-structured interviews with diverse stakeholders (producers, businesses, governments, communities, experts) to collect insights /li liDelivering a technical report and factsheets for different audiences /li pbSelection criteria /b /p liExpertise in sustainable supply chains, ideally EUDR and traceability, with a focus on economic, social and governance dimensions /li liProven qualitative research skills: literature review, semi-structured interviews, case study design /li liExperience engaging credibly with diverse stakeholder groups /li liExisting networks across relevant supply chains and key producing geographies /li liProfessional proficiency in additional languages beyond English is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc.) /li
