Ph3Position Type /h3pStudent Support Services-Licensed /p h3Date Posted /h3p5/6/2026 /p h3Location /h3pDistrict Wide /p pHiring for the school year now! /p h3Schedule /h3 ul liFTE /li liHours may vary based on program needs /li /ul h3Reports To /h3 pExecutive Director of Special Education/Student Services, Building Principals /p h3Supervision /h3 pNone /p h3Salary Range /h3 p$69,850- $90,362 /year (dependent on experience and qualifications) /p h3Qualifications /h3 h3Required /h3 ul liCurrent Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education /li liMaster’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology /li liExperience working with a wide variety of communication needs /li liExperience in due process procedures including conducting evaluations, writing IEPs/IFSPs, progress monitoring and meeting facilitation /li liExperience with students who use ASL /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liPrevious related experience /li liCurrent Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-S/LP) /li /ul h3Position Summary /h3 pUnder the supervision of building principals and/or special education administrators, the speech/language pathologist will screen, assess, and evaluate speech, language and communication needs for individuals with various physical, psychological, cognitive and sensory abilities. /p h3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities /h3 ul liMust possess strong communication and interpersonal skills /li liAbility to be flexible based on program and student needs /li liKnowledge of all due process requirements and strong computer skills /li liAbility to adapt equipment and materials for children with disabilities /li liStrong organizational skills /li liAbility to work with students, families, professionals and staff of various cultural and ethnic backgrounds /li liAbility to interact with and maintain cooperative relationship with all levels of staff and the public /li /ul h3Essential Duties /h3 ul liParticipate in multidisciplinary Part B/Part C team evaluation/assessment of a child, child’s family, and in the development of integrated goals and outcomes for IEPs/IFSPs /li liEducate parents and others regarding the provision of services /li liProvide specialized instruction as outlined in IEPs/IFSPs /li liUtilize a variety of materials and teaching techniques including evidence-based practices /li liImplement a variety of service delivery models including push-in classroom intervention, indirect/consultation, Family Guided Routines-Based intervention and pull-out intervention as appropriate to meet student needs in the least restrictive environment /li liConsult with parents, other service providers and representatives of appropriate community agencies to ensure the effective provision of services /li liCollaborate with educational staff about student needs and progress /li liPlan and conduct a system of continuous evaluation of each student’s progress /li liEncourage and instruct parents and educational staff in appropriate methods to assist their child /li liParticipate in meetings to include IEP, IFSP, conferences, in-services, etc. for the purpose of developing plans and/or providing information regarding student’s goals/outcomes /li liPrepare documentation (evaluation, observations, progress reports) and maintain records as required and for compliance with district administrative policies, state and federal rules and regulations. /li liProvide and maintain 3 rd party billing documentation for eligible students /li liProvide IEP case management and IFSP service coordination as needed /li liMaintain confidentiality /li liOther duties as assigned /li /ul h3Physical Factors /h3 ul liFrequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pWe offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week*.
