Ppb6-month Temp Contract (60% - 100%) /b /p h3The Team /h3 pThe Ground Control team makes sure the Verity drone fleet can be managed and operated safely, robustly, and intuitively across its entire life cycle. We build the applications our internal users rely on to efficiently manufacture, commission, and support our systems, and we enable clients to operate safely by defining when and where our drones are allowed to fly. /p pYou’ll join the Ground Control Stream Squad, an independent, cross-functional team that tackles topics spanning multiple parts of the Verity system. /p h3What You'll Work On /h3 ul liCollaborate with developers, product, design, and other stakeholders to ship new functionality that makes our users' lives easier /li liImprove, maintain, and extend robust frontend components for our user interfaces /li liIdentify and address technical debt as part of day-to-day feature development /li liWork with frontend engineers across teams to keep quality high across the stack, including through code reviews /li liChallenge the status quo: spot bottlenecks, raise them early, and give your team honest feedback on how to keep improving /li /ul h3What We're Looking For /h3 ul liA degree (FH, BSc, MSc) in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience /li liAt least 5 years of professional experience building frontend applications /li liDeep experience with React and modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, HTML, CSS) /li liHigh standards for code quality: you deliver code that is well tested, easy to read, and easy to maintain and extend /li liA curious, independent working style: you take ownership of your goals, question your own and others' assumptions, and keep learning /li liDirect, kind communication: you get to the point, transparently and compassionately /li liFluent English, written and spoken /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liKnowledge of Python and AWS, and an interest in developing features end to end across frontend and backend /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liYou are able to get up to speed quickly and hit the ground running /li liYou want to make a difference, eagerly work your way toward excellence, and have fun while doing it /li liYou are curious, challenge yours and others beliefs, and are committed to continuously learn new things /li liYou're independent, accountable, and focused on achieving your goals and tasks /li liYou deeply value communication, are transparent, and like going to the point in a kind and compassionate way /li /ul h3Why Verity? /h3 ul liYou'll work alongside experienced engineers and researchers shipping autonomous systems into real warehouses. /li liFlexibility.
