Job Description As a Segment Manager, you will be a thought leader and have ownership of key industrial and consumer vertical markets in the Americas. You will use your business development skills to build relationships with key stakeholders, working closely with sales and marketing teams to develop the sales funnel. Collaboration with product and strategy managers is essential to align our roadmap with segment needs. Success depends on leveraging industry knowledge to define and promote innovative solutions that address customer challenges and increase market share in key segments.
Your Responsibilities Identify key market trends and potential customers within focus segments
Define and execute sales and marketing strategies
Identify and qualify opportunities within key segments and drive design wins
Develop solutions for market needs, including hardware, software, services, platforms, and partnerships
Position and articulate the value of solutions within the market segment and provide input to global segment management
Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Contribute to corporate strategy initiatives in the market segment
Perform competitive analysis of solutions and develop clearly differentiated offerings
Understand customer service and hardware architecture to identify suitable u-blox products
Understand the service provider ecosystem for focus customers and position u-blox services accordingly
Your Skills and Experience At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within semiconductor solutions, including cellular modems, GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technologies, or connectivity services
End-to-End Internet of Things systems architecture knowledge
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to plan and execute both short-term and long-term strategies
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 75%)
Proven track record in revenue growth and design wins
Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve results
Bonus Points Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree, MBA
