Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing a global procurement strategy for Transport, Packaging, Warehouse Equipment, and Forklifts / AGVs, aligned with corporate goals and regional requirements
* Leading supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and long-term value creation
* Managing strategic supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews, and initiating continuous improvement measures
* Acting as functional lead for the global NPM Logistics team, fostering cross-regional collaboration and capability building
* Supporting the roll-out and optimization of digital procurement and logistics solutions (e.g., TMS, SAP)
* Providing cost estimates and driving savings initiatives in close cooperation with Direct Material Purchasing and Sales
* Preparing and maintaining reports on procurement performance, savings achievements, and supplier KPIs
* Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and contributing to audits and risk assessments
* Collaborating in cross-functional projects with logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to enhance end-to-end efficiency
Qualifications
* Degree or vocational training in logistics, procurement, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in transport or logistics procurement
* Proficient in SAP and Excel; experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
* Strong negotiation skills and fluent communication in English
* Team-oriented mindset with intercultural competence and a natural ability to build networks
