Join our team as the Order Management Team Leader and lead a dedicated and specialized team in our factory in Zürich-Altstetten. Our local product group Insulation & Components is the technology leader in design and manufacture of high voltage transformer bushings. All renowned international companies of the electrical industry, active in power generation, transmission and distribution are among our customers. We have a top position in the high voltage bushing areas worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of fulfillment specialists, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve departmental goals and promote professional growth
* Oversee the end-to-end value chain, from order receipt to product delivery, ensuring robust execution of day-to-day activities and logistics strategies
* Optimize dispatch plans to enhance operational efficiency and maintain optimal Finished Good Inventory levels while collaborating with various departments such as Sales, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Export to ensure alignment on business planning activities
* Ensure timely and accurate order completion, enhancing customer satisfaction, including your own customer portfolio
* Optimize resource allocation and manage budgets to exceed operational and financial key performance indicators
* Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to drive informed decision-making
* Champion continuous improvement methodologies to boost operational excellence and reduce costs, enhancing safety, quality, and delivery
* As People Manager, ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines
Your background
* Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in order handling, project management, customer relations or similar, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software
* Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, and transportation management
* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively and engage with cross functional teams and external partners
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and implement process improvements
* Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German
