Job Description: The Position
As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world, we lead the way in the sport and event industry. We are now looking for a Senior Media Services Manager to support us in our mission as part of FIFA .
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, developing, and implementing media service levels during FIFA tournaments and events, working closely with Media Operations & Services team and project leads.
Supporting innovative, scalable solutions considered best in class in sports media.
Creating concepts and ideas to enhance media services and media personnel experience.
Digitizing media information for prompt, accurate operational delivery and refining Media Guides.
Collaborating across departments to streamline media processes.
Monitoring media operations data, providing reports and insights.
Staying updated with industry trends and integrating advancements.
Serving as the main contact for global news agencies and media partners.
Supporting other FIFA events as needed, including the FIFA World Cup, Women's World Cup, and others.
FIFA Media Hub responsibilities include overseeing the editorial team, managing projects, handling media registrations, and improving communication and services.
Media accreditation duties involve managing the accreditation process, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing quota management for the FIFA World Cup.
Media ticketing responsibilities include leading operations, system development, data analysis, and team management.
Your Profile
We value dedication, ambition, innovation, and a global mindset. Required competencies include communication, team spirit, analytical thinking, quick comprehension, curiosity, positive energy, resilience, and relevant educational background with 5-10 years of experience in sports/media organizations. Proficiency in English and knowledge of SAP are assets. Willingness to travel at least 8 weeks per year is required.
