Key Responsibilities:
Ensure product quality through monitoring tasting panels and inspecting mise en place.
Manage food production, give instructions to team, and maintain standards with minimal spoilage.
Supervise product delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
Oversee Galley staff during operations, ensuring compliance with safety and storage standards.
Participate in daily meetings and organize staff briefings on menus and events.
Control food consumption and ensure cost targets are met.
Train staff in production methods, culinary techniques, and presentation.
Provide training and orientation for new staff.
Maintain knowledge of health standards and ensure compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum five years of culinary experience, with at least two years as Demi Chef de Partie in high-volume settings.
Cruise ship experience preferred.
Deep knowledge of international cuisines, especially Western/Continental, and USPH/HACCP standards.
Qualification in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
Ability to supervise multicultural teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
Good English communication skills.
