Role: Corporate Finance Project Manager
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Europe-based, ideally Geneva (minimum 3 days/week office presence)
Engagement: Initial 6-month contract, with potential extension based on business needs (expected minimum 12 months)
Key Responsibilities
* Primary Role: Lead and manage the Management side of the Long-Term Funding Project, ensuring structured governance, clear timelines, preparation of deliverables and effective stakeholder coordination.
* Immediate Impact: Hit the ground running to lead high-priority finance projects with minimal onboarding time.
* Project Management Leadership: Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives in corporate finance, restructuring, and funding contexts. Ensure clear prioritization, structured timelines, and delivery against tight deadlines.
* Financial Expertise: Apply strong corporate finance knowledge, including funding mechanisms (debt, equity, hybrids), capital structuring, and intercompany financing. Professional qualifications (Chartered Accountant, CFA, MBA) are highly desirable.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders (Board, CEO, CFO, Treasury, Tax, Legal), managing expectations and building consensus across diverse functions.
* Communication Excellence: Translate complex financial concepts into actionable plans and high-quality presentation materials for executive and Board-level audiences.
* Advisory Mindset: Act as a trusted advisor, bringing insights and recommendations that align with strategic objectives.
Profile Requirements
* Experience: Typically 10+ years in finance-related roles, with at least 3-5 years in project/program management within corporate or consulting/advisory environments.
* Skills:
o Exceptional project management and prioritization skills
o Strong financial acumen and analytical capability
o Positive, proactive attitude with resilience under pressure
o Ability to deliver structured updates and clear decision-enabling insights
