The opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino. In this role you are leading the execution of medium‑size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety, and environment requirements. How You’ll Make An Impact
Develop project schedules and determine resource requirements
Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
Manage After‑Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs
Identify and resolve obstacles to completing projects on time and to budget
Manage multiple, interrelated projects, including business transformation projects
Integrate vendor tasks into the project plan and track and review vendor deliverables
Your background
Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background
2–3 years proven experience in Project Management with a focus on Transformers and Reactors
Collaboration with a diverse number of stakeholders
Very good knowledge of English and Italian; other languages are a plus
Strong communicator, self‑driven and open‑minded
Structured and organized with the ability to work under time pressure
Team‑player able to build and motivate a project team
