Michel Mueller, President IFWHAbout the IFWHThe Institute for Women’s Health (IFWH) is an innovation platform by Leister Stiftung and Otto Mihm Stiftung dedicated to advancing women’s health through interdisciplinary collaboration, translational research, and technology-driven solutions. We bring together clinicians, researchers, engineers, and innovators to create measurable impact on women’s health — from idea to implementation.Your RoleAs Innovation Project Manager, you act as the interface between clinical needs, academic research, and technological innovation. Working closely with the President of the IFWH and leading experts from Swiss hospitals and universities, you will play a central role in identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and translating ideas into real-world solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesInnovation Scouting & Scientific MonitoringContinuously monitor international trends, scientific literature, and technological developments in women’s health, digital health, and medtech.Identify emerging innovations, unmet clinical needs, and opportunities for strategic projects and partnerships.Prepare concise scientific and strategic briefs for IFWH leadership and partners.Clinical Needs Assessment & Project DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate clinical needs in collaboration with senior physicians and department heads at hospitals such as Inselspital Bern, HFR Fribourg, and CHUV Lausanne.Analyse and prioritize project ideas based on feasibility, innovation potential, funding opportunities, and patient benefit.Translate clinical questions into structured innovation or research projects.Research & Industry CollaborationCollaborate with academic partners (e.g., EPFL, University of Fribourg) and industry stakeholders to explore and develop technological solutions.Support grant applications, innovation funding proposals, and public–private partnerships.Build and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across medicine, engineering, and life sciences.Project Management & ImplementationLaunch and manage innovation projects from concept to pilot and implementation.Coordinate timelines, milestones, budgets, and reporting.Ensure clinical relevance, regulatory awareness, and real-world applicability of solutions.Visibility, Communication & Community BuildingOrganize and maintain the social media and digital presence of the IFWH, in collaboration with internal and external communication partners.Communicate project progress, outcomes, and success stories to stakeholders, funders, and the public.Identify and track the most important national and international meetings, congresses, and innovation events in women’s health.Represent IFWH at selected conferences, partner events, and networking meetings.Event ManagementLead the planning and organization of the annual IFWH meeting, including scientific program development, speaker coordination, logistics, and partner engagement.Coordinate and organize quarterly online meetings to inform all parties about the progress of the different projectsSupport additional workshops, innovation days, and stakeholder meetings throughout the year.Your ProfileMaster’s or PhD degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Health Innovation, Public Health, or a related field.Proven experience in project management within healthcare, medtech, research, or innovation environments.Strong interest in women’s health, translational research, and digital or technological innovation.Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; able to work across disciplines and institutional cultures.Experience with scientific literature review, innovation scouting, or technology assessment is an advantage.Comfortable with digital communication tools and social media for professional organizations.Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility.Fluent in German and English (working languages); French is an asset.What We OfferA meaningful opportunity to actively shape the future of Women’s Health innovation in Switzerland and beyond.High-level exposure to leading clinicians, researchers, universities, and industry partners.A dynamic, interdisciplinary, and mission-driven workin j4id10047637a j4it0207a j4iy26a
