Our IT Department at the headquarters in Wallisellen is seeking a Global Head of Data & Integration Platforms (f/m/d) - 100%.
Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced leader to drive our data strategy, focusing on delivering insights, building a self-service data platform, and enhancing our integration capabilities to support growth and innovation. Responsibilities include improving data quality, enabling AI, and ensuring seamless data integration.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver data insights for informed decision-making.
Design and implement a self-service data platform based on data mesh principles, covering real-time and near-time analytics.
Own and oversee the global data and integration platforms.
Develop and implement a global canonical data model.
Build and scale a high-performing global data team.
Improve internal and external customer satisfaction.
Enable AI capabilities to enhance BI and automation.
Drive data quality improvements at the source.
Enhance the integration platform for seamless connectivity.
Establish data governance and security protocols.
Your Ideal Profile:
8+ years of experience in IT, focusing on data and integration.
4+ years in leadership, managing international teams.
Strong leadership skills and conviction in data mesh principles.
Degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
Experience in consumer goods or retail (>5 years), preferably in fashion, retail, or FMCG industries.
Proven experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Deep understanding of event-driven architecture and streaming tech (Kafka, Confluent, Solace).
Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., Dell Boomi).
Expertise in domain-oriented data modeling.
Strong personal values and influence skills.
Results-driven with a focus on organizational impact.
Language: English.
