Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Energy market by executing sales strategies aimed at meeting sales targets and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will create and complete winning bids, estimations, or quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budgets to ensure market competitiveness and high margins aligned with the Energy Industries’ sales strategy. Your goal is to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the Business Line Excitation profitably. The work model for this role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland. You will mainly be accountable for:
* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain solid customer relationships, ensuring a positive experience and providing technical support during sales interactions.
* Sales Execution: Enhance sales through strategic initiatives, value-based selling, target setting, and active participation in contract negotiations.
* Bid Management: Manage the preparation of competitive bids and proposals, addressing technical, financial, and project aspects, while identifying risks and ensuring accurate documentation.
* Process & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, efficient use of tools, accurate forecasting, and support for administrative and reporting processes.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor/master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* More than 8 years of experience in related fields, e.g., Bids & Proposals, Engineering in power generation/industry projects or services
* Previous experience in Excitation, power electronics systems, protection, or synchronous generators is beneficial
* Experience in system modeling or simulation is an advantage
* Proven ability to develop strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally, with comfort working across cultures and sectors
* Fluent in English; German or French language skills are beneficial
* Willing to travel up to 15% for client and team engagement worldwide
