Responsibilities
1. Acting as an interface to the accounting team as a subject matter expert in accounting/tax and payroll administration
2. Independently manage financial administration for client companies in Switzerland
3. Prepare & review financial statements, handle taxes, VAT, and payroll for clients
4. Manage the closing process and creating financial reports in line with Swiss Code of Obligations (SCO)
5. Prepare & review of reporting packages and cash flow statements according to Swiss CO (IFRS & US GAAP)
6. Provide guidance/review on transition calculations from US GAAP/IFRS to SCO
7. Collaborate closely with legal and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate policies
8. Support the team-heads and related team members in complex issues and projects beyond fiduciary services, such as cross-departmental initiatives
9. Prepare/review of consolidated financial statements and handling intercompany transactions/reconciliations
10. Awareness of developments taking place within client structures and to identify possible commercial opportunities
11. Participate in incorporation-, restructuring-, and liquidation projects
12. Possibility to take on the role of administrative board member / managing officer for Swiss client mandates
Required profile
Profile
13. Swiss federal Diploma Accounting/Fiduciary or Fiduciary Expert)
14. Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in Switzerland in a Fiduciary, or an Audit firm environment
15. Proven experience of managing a portfolio of different clients' structures
16. Strong knowledge of SCO
17. Knowledge in IFRS & US GAAP
18. Be able to prepare IFRS-based financial statements and prepare transition calculations to SCO
19. Fluent in English and German (spoken, written, and report writing); knowledge of French is an advantage
20. Proficient in IT tools such as MS Office, Abacus, SAP, Viewpoint, and Dr. Tax
