As a Laboratory Technician (m/w/d), you will join our Science & Technology Division in Vernier (Switzerland). You will be responsible for designing and conducting research projects to develop improved products and solutions aligned with our business objectives and corporate strategy. You will focus on fragrance excellence and the implementation of scientific and technological advancements.
Your role includes translating consumer benefits or customer requirements, typically received through new business opportunities, into laboratory samples. You will plan, organize, and execute projects to ensure timely delivery of results.
In this exciting role, you will:
* Perform experiments under the guidance of a project leader, tracking and recording all findings and sharing them with your supervisor.
* Write reports and updates, and ensure project progress.
Problem Solving:
* Apply creative thinking skills, solve problems, and work towards achieving project deliverables.
* Provide daily support for production challenges globally.
Research Method Development:
* Contribute to developing research methods under guidance and assess their impact on current products.
Collaborate with external partners and communicate with suppliers.
Scientific Expertise:
* Become a scientific and technical expert in your area. Participate in building solutions by sharing knowledge and learning within your specialist field to ensure optimal performance.
Your success profile includes:
* CFC or Bac+2/3 in Chemistry.
* Expertise in topics such as:
o Design, synthesis, and characterization of polymers.
o Emulsions.
o Sustainable materials.
o Analytical chemistry (e.g., viscosity, particle size, zeta potential, chromatographic methods, IR, UV, SEM, TGA, DSC).
1. At least 3 years of experience in an R&D environment.
2. Fluent in French and proficient in English.
3. Results-driven approach.
4. Hands-on mindset and willingness to work in the lab.
5. Ability to connect with diverse people.
