For a client in the technology industry, we are seeking a candidate for the position of DevOps Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes
* Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
* Monitor system performance and reliability
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to support our AWS transformation
* Participate in technical discussions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to architectural decisions
* Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting languages
* Document solutions and share knowledge across the team to foster continuous improvement
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems and cloud infrastructure
* Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, EKS) and Kubernetes (Helm, RBAC, Operators)
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
* Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD and GitLab
* Experience with Terraform, Vault, and monitoring/logging platforms
* Strong communication and teamwork skills in a distributed, multicultural environment
* Problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security
* Openness to feedback and a desire to grow technically and professionally
Nice To Have
* AWS certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
* Experience working in remote or distributed teams
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Contributions to open-source projects or DevOps communities
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in building and scaling cloud-native infrastructure, implementing automation and CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability and security, with an SRE mindset. K8s native or AWS native application programming skills are a strong plus.
