Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and guide delivery of project outcomes on behalf of a Steering Committee (governance)
2. Ensure the conformity of the project to the major goals (market, strategy, profitability, global Lonza standards) and provide justification from a market, strategy, and economic perspective
3. Establish the project charter and work with customer-facing teams, Ops, and SGIE (Strategic Growth Engineering) to define business requirements and validate business feasibility and technical approach
4. Develop scenarios based on customer demand, BU strategy, and footprint
5. Liaise with commercial teams to ensure clarity of customer contracts and communication to avoid misunderstandings
6. Manage scope changes and impacts in the pre-CAR phase. Coordinate all input to stage gate documents and ensure accurate process up to and including the CAR with key functions
7. Present the CAR to the approval bodies along with sound business and operational justification
8. Act as the primary point of contact for growth projects, ensuring timely information flow and effective collaborator coordination
9. Track growth project status, including cost, schedule, and scope, to ensure flawless execution
Key Requirements:
1. Degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or Pharmacology or equivalent experience
2. Proven experience as PMO with Operations, Finance, and Commercial background in the biotech or pharma sector
3. Expert knowledge in aseptic manufacturing and/or fill and finish
4. Solid experience initiating and leading large CAPEX projects
5. Ability to operate optimally in a matrix organization
6. Excellent interpersonal skills in English with the ability to present at Executive Committee and board level
