An international organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of an Interpreter Management System. The system aims to automate and optimize the management, allocation, and tracking of interpretation services within the organization, building on existing processes while improving overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Project Management
* Develop and manage the project plan (scope, timeline, resources, budget)
* Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout all project phases, up to deployment
* Oversee user acceptance testing
* Contribute to the creation of user documentation and in-application guidance
1. Stakeholder Management and Communication
* Ensure regular communication with all stakeholders (language services, external suppliers, IT teams, management)
* Facilitate workshops and testing sessions as needed
* Provide regular progress reports
* Develop and deliver training programs for system users
2. Financial Management and Quality Assurance
* Monitor the project budget and resource utilization
* Support the implementation of invoice verification and receipting functionalities within the system
3. System Implementation and Integration
* Support system development, testing, and deployment
* Collaborate on integration with existing organizational systems
* Support change management initiatives to encourage system adoption
* Prepare post-deployment support plans
4. Other related tasks as required
Profile
1. Education (Essential)
* University degree (Bachelor’s level) in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
5. Education (Desirable)
* Master’s degree in a relevant field
* Qualifications in IT system development or implementation
Experience (Essential)
* At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in IT system implementation
Experience (Desirable)
* Experience in language services, translation, or interpretation management
* Experience in designing or implementing workflow automation systems
Languages (Essential)
* Excellent written and spoken English
Languages (Desirable)
* Knowledge of other official languages used in the publication of international treaties
* Experience working in multilingual environments
Competencies (Essential)
* Strong command of project management methodologies and tools
* Good understanding of IT system implementation principles
Benefits
Initial contract duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
Hourly Wage: CHF 41.80
