Purpose
The Commissioning Marine Superintendent oversees and coordinates all construction & commissioning activities related to Marine discipline, facilitating effective communication between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensure all construction & commissioning activities of your discipline are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, project schedule, and HSSE & Quality regulations.
Coordinate and supervise daily operations at site, including workforce, material handling, and equipment usage.
Lead site inspections, tests, and verifications of discipline systems and equipment.
Manage and implement changes to the discipline plan or scope of work that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate and timely records of discipline activities, including progress reports, HSSE records, and quality control data.
Monitor progress against project timeline and take corrective actions to maintain schedule.
Implement and enforce HSSE protocols to ensure all construction activities comply with company HSSE regulations and standards.
Manage and mentor construction & commissioning supervisors and team members to uphold high standards of work.
Education
At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
Relevant experience in the construction industry, strong understanding of construction & commissioning processes in the relevant discipline, and practical knowledge gained managing and leading teams to ensure smooth operations on site.
