We are seeking an experienced
Senior Cisco Network Engineer
to design, implement, and operate a
scalable, high-availability, and secure enterprise network infrastructure
. This role is critical to ensuring network reliability, performance, and security across data center and distributed environments, while supporting ongoing growth and architecture evolution.
This position is ideal for a
hands-on Cisco expert
with deep routing and security expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive mindset toward infrastructure resilience and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain
enterprise and data-center network architectures
based on Cisco technologies
* Administer and operate
Cisco ASR platforms
, core routing, and high-availability network components
* Configure, manage, and optimize
BGP (IPv4/IPv6)
, including
Anycast, multi-homed, and multi-carrier BGP deployments
* Implement and support
IPSec VPN tunnels
, encryption standards, and secure site-to-site connectivity
* Deploy, operate, and maintain
Cisco Firepower NGFW
, including policy control, traffic inspection, and threat protection
* Monitor network performance, diagnose latency and packet-loss issues, and proactively resolve incidents
* Perform
root-cause analysis
for outages and performance degradation in production environments
* Plan network capacity, scalability, and redundancy to support future growth
* Lead network projects including
migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure redesigns
* Maintain accurate
network diagrams, configuration standards, and technical documentation
* Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure
compliance, resilience, and secure operations
* Remotely manage data-center network infrastructure and execute configuration changes safely in live environments
Requirements
* 5+ years
of hands-on experience administering and architecting
Cisco-based enterprise networks
* Strong expertise with
Cisco ASR routers
, routing modules, and high-performance network platforms
* Advanced knowledge of
BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, QoS
, and traffic engineering concepts
* Proven experience managing
multi-homed BGP environments
with IPv4 and IPv6
* Hands-on experience with
Cisco Firepower NGFW
(policy control, monitoring, and threat mitigation)
* Solid understanding of
IPSec VPN technologies
, encryption methods, and secure tunneling
* Experience with
network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning
in distributed and data-center environments
* Strong analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and incident-response skills
* Ability to design
resilient, scalable, and highly available network architectures
