Job Title: Brand Manager - Smart Buildings
The Brand Manager is a key global role within Johnson Controls' brand function. The manager will oversee all brand projects related to smart buildings, including brand strategy, performance analysis, competitive benchmarking, planning, integration, and activation support.
How you will do it
1. Develop and continuously refine JCIs brand strategy for smart buildings, including brand architecture and identity creation.
2. Conduct competitive benchmarks and analysis to evaluate JCI’s global brand performance in the smart buildings sector, providing recommendations to achieve industry breakthroughs.
3. Support global activation of the smart buildings brand strategy, monitor progress, and recommend actions to address gaps.
4. Participate in thought leadership and positioning initiatives to enhance brand equity and strength in smart buildings.
5. Implement programs to boost global engagement in the smart buildings category, both externally and internally.
6. Ensure awareness of JCI's smart buildings brand strategy during new acquisitions, joint ventures, events, and showcases.
What we look for
Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
* Extensive experience in marketing and communications, with specific expertise in Brand Strategy within a global organization.
* Proven track record of collaboration and teamwork.
* Strong curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit to actively seek opportunities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
* Strong writing, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment with a strong sense of urgency.
* Willingness to work 3 days a week from the Neuhausen office.

* B2B brand marketing experience.
* Industry-relevant experience.
* Expertise in brand strategy and execution.
* Design communication and management skills.
* Content creation experience.
* Experience managing internal communities and driving engagement is a plus.
