The Associate Banker Senior is a seasoned professional role. It applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. The role integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area and requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function, as well as how to coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.
This position involves evaluating moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where developing an approach or taking action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Good analytical skills are essential to filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required, along with informal or formal leadership within teams. The individual may be involved in coaching and training new recruits.
The role has a significant impact in terms of project size and geography by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, and facilitating services in the area of specialization. The performance of all teams in the area is directly affected by the individual’s performance.
Responsibilities :
Provide complete service support to clients, including solving complex client inquiries.
Support bankers with documentation such as account opening and closing, loan disbursals, etc.
Organize pre-call planning, post-meeting notes, and maintain all client call records including call reports.
Assist bankers in profiling, qualifying, and converting prospects into Citi Private Bank clients.
Help deepen existing client relationships through detailed analysis.
Assist in creating sales and marketing strategies aimed at revenue growth and acquiring new target clients, focusing on investments.
Support prospecting efforts by conducting research, generating leads, developing prospects, and coordinating client events.
Provide accurate and timely revenue tracking, deal pipeline reports, and other relevant information to the banker.
Ensure all documentation related to KYC/AML from clients is complete and up-to-date.
Assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and escalating issues transparently.
Qualifications :
5-8 years of experience.
Knowledge of investments is required; banking and credit products are desirable.
Ability to manage relationships internally and externally; capable of multi-tasking.
Education :
Bachelor's or university degree or equivalent experience.
