The Fundamental Equity department consists of 85 investment professionals, including CPMs and Investment Specialists, and manages EUR 44 billion in assets. Investment teams are based in Rotterdam, Zurich, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. The client base is global, with assets currently concentrated in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The Fundamental Equity Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team is part of the Investment Department. Its primary objective is to promote Robeco’s fundamental equity strategies by securing the support of Sales teams and through direct client engagement, including one-on-one meetings and group presentations. The team currently comprises seven Client Portfolio Managers and two Investment Specialists and operates within the broader Global CPM organization. As a Client Portfolio Manager within the Fundamental Equity team, your initial focus will be on Thematic Equity strategies. The CPM model is flexible and designed to optimize commercial impact and client retention. Over time, your coverage may expand to include a broader range of fundamental equity strategies. As a CPM, you will be involved across the full commercial lifecycle, including client acquisition and retention for institutional and distribution clients globally. You will provide in-depth investment expertise on Robeco’s Thematic and broader Fundamental Equity strategies and, in close collaboration with Sales, present these to clients and prospects to support decision-making and drive business development. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Robeco’s investment strategies and processes is essential, as is close collaboration with portfolio management teams. This role requires frequent travel (up to approximately 50%) and is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Responsibilities Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Robeco’s fundamental equity strategies through ongoing collaboration with portfolio managers Partner closely with CPM colleagues to maximize team effectiveness and commercial outcomes Represent Robeco’s strategies in client and prospect meetings, as well as at events, covering both introductions and performance updates Prepare and oversee high-quality client presentations and marketing materials Respond to client and Sales queries, and contribute to RFPs and DDQs Support investment teams in client meeting preparation and follow-up activities Manage internal and external reporting requirements Contribute to internal initiatives and business development projects Requirements Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, including direct client interaction in a product specialist role, preferably within active fundamental equity investing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Strong understanding of asset management, including equity funds and ETFs Affinity with AI and a proactive mindset toward leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and quality Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Proactive and flexible team player with a collaborative, mindset Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, combined with pragmatic problem-solving ability Client-focused and results-driven Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent communication skills in English and at least one additional European language (German, French, Italian, or Spanish preferred)
