Senior Project Manager (Contract)
A global biopharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Transfer Project Manager to support complex international technology transfer initiatives. This is a contract role based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
Contract details :
Workload: 40 hours per week
Contract duration: approximately 8–9 months possibility to be extended
Travel: available to travel (Brazil, US)
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Tech Transfer Project Manager and primary point of contact between Global Process Owners, Sending Units, and Brazil-based project teams
Lead cross-functional, multi-site technical teams
Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, KPIs, and risk registers
Coordinate hands-on activities at the Receiving Unit and ensure readiness
Track scope and strategy changes and secure stakeholder endorsement
Organize governance, technical, and review meetings
Report progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership (Director/VP level)
Requirements :
BSc or MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a comparable discipline
Demonstrated experience managing large, international Tech Transfer and CMC projects
Proven experience collaborating with external partners
Fluent in English and French; Portuguese is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Strong CMC and Tech Transfer expertise, preferably in large molecules
Proven ability to lead teams in complex global, matrix environments
Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
