The
Principal Data Scientist – Delivery
plays a key role in designing Vyntra's financial crime analytics solutions for our customers. You combine a customer-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in high-stakes discussions with senior stakeholders. You excel at understanding business needs and translating them into actionable analytical solutions—all while working with a high degree of autonomy.

Switzerland, Kenya, Singapore, Poland or Belgium
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
 * Design and implement advanced analytics approaches, algorithms, machine learning models, and predictive models to solve customer business problems.
 * Represent the Data Science team in Proof-of-Concept (PoC), Proof-of-Value (PoV), and other key pre-sales and delivery projects.
 * Develop solutions to proactively enhance analytical performance for strategic customers.
 * Lead and coordinate a cross-regional Data Science Delivery squad: plan, organize, and allocate operational analytical tasks.
 * Stay up to date on recent advances in AI/ML as well as fraud, financial crime, and AML domains.
 * Provide third-level support, training, and coaching to Professional Services Consultants and R&D Engineers.
 * Contribute to the development of data science libraries, with a focus on supporting Professional Services activities.
Who You Are
 * PhD or MSc in Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
 * 10+ years of experience in applied analytics (machine learning, statistics, data mining, data visualization, data analysis) in a corporate environment, including ideally 5+ years in financial crime prevention or a related domain.
 * Strong expertise in Python and its data science libraries.
 * Deep knowledge of machine learning, mathematics, and predictive modeling.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 * Highly proactive and self-driven, with a problem-solving mindset.
 * Readiness to travel on business trips if required
