To strengthen our team in Niederbipp, we are looking for you as soon as possible as Machine Operator / Paper Technologist Paper Production in 4-Shift System 100% (m/f/d) Tasks * Machine expert: You operate and control our paper production machines according to the specified production guidelines. You keep an eye on the entire paper production process and ensure the smooth operation of the assigned plant. * Coordinator: You lead the shift report and are the central contact point for disruptions and defects. Your responsibilities also include performing process-defined adjustments on the machines. * Supporter: You are a valuable part of the team during setup processes and work preparation. In addition, you continuously monitor and optimize production processes to increase efficiency. * Quality assurer: You independently carry out quality controls and make necessary corrections if needed to ensure that our high-quality standards are maintained. Profile * Education and experience: You have completed mechanical or technical training, e.g., as a plant operator, mechanic, locksmith, or plumber, or have several years of experience with industrial plants. Ideally, you have completed training as a paper technologist. * Personal qualities: You are skilled in craftsmanship and technology, a team player, work independently and thoughtfully, and can communicate well in German. * Shift readiness: You feel comfortable working in a 4-shift system. We operate a rotating 7-day shift model, where you work seven consecutive days in the same shift - including weekends and holidays. Depending on the rhythm, you have 56 to 80 hours of free time between shift changes. * System knowledge: You have experience with process control systems and are familiar with MS Office. * Mobility: You have your own car or good public transport connections to start your shift on time.
