Our client is looking for an experienced PostgreSQL and Oracle Database Specialist (m / w) - Permanent Position
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Lifecycle and optimization of PostgreSQL / Oracle databases, including Oracle ExaData
* 2nd or 3rd level support, performance and problem analysis
* Planning and executing customer projects, migrations and lifecycle topics
* Creation and maintenance of system-relevant operating documentation
* Willingness to work after office hours and perform on-call duty 7x24
Qualifications / Requirements
* Completed IT training in systems engineering or adequate qualification, possibly FH
* Expert PostgreSQL (up to V16.3) experience and good Oracle 12c / 19c know-how
* 3-5 years of professional experience as a database specialist
* Experience in database technologies and operations, as well as knowledge of Linux operating systems
* Flexible, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
* Team player and willingness to learn new topics
* Language skills, German and English
