Job Description:
IT Engineer - Windows, Linux, Python, French / Eng - this is a long term contract for our client in the agricultural sector in Monthey.
Your tasks:
1. Participate in the implementation of OT and Cybersecurity projects.
2. Provide operational technical support to guarantee the availability of IoT architectures and networks.
3. Apply solutions, standards and processes to guarantee the sustainability and cost control of IoT infrastructure life cycles.
4. Provide operational and technical support to project teams for IoT extension, retrofit, cybersecurity or proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.
5. Apply standards within the IoT and Cyber perimeter and contribute to their improvement in support of the technical referents.
6. Apply the maintenance strategy for IoT architectures, in liaison with the contract manager, stakeholders and technical referents.
7. Participate in the implementation of protection systems (SIEM, probes, vulnerabilities) as part of projects to ensure the processing of events and incidents.
Your experience/knowledge:
1. More than 5 years' professional experience in IS, IT and OT.
2. Experience in maintenance or commissioning.
3. Excellent knowledge of OT architectures and information systems in industrial environments.
4. Master's degree in IT or equivalent.
5. At least Bachelor's degree level.
6. Proficiency of different backup models and of Veritas and Veeam solutions and Synology technology (NAS).
7. Mastery of virtualization solutions: Hyper-v, VMWare, Nutanix, proxmox.
8. Mastery of scripting solutions: PowerShell, Ansible, Python.
9. Proficiency of OS level 1 administration: Linux, Windows server 2012, 2016 and 2019/22, Active Directory and GPO, Trellix (EPO).
10. Knowledge of networking and network architecture (TCP/IP addressing) would be a plus.
11. Knowledge of SQL server database (queries and joins, maintenance plan).
12. Cybersecurity awareness (purpose of a DMZ, Firewall, best practices).
13. High capacity for cross-functional collaboration.
14. Good change management skills.
15. Ability to analyze/organize/steer action plans.
16. High HSE sensitivity.
