About the Role

We are looking for a Chef de Partie (Cold Kitchen & VIP) to join our production team and help deliver exceptional meals for our airline clients. This role is especially important in catering to VIP passengers and special client requests, where attention to detail and creativity make all the difference.

As Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensure high‑quality preparation and presentation, and support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day‑to‑day operations.

Annual gross salary CHF 60,000–65,000 (including 13th month), negotiable depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present high‑quality dishes according to recipes and client specifications.

Ensure all food leaving your section is consistent, fresh, and presented to the highest standard.

Manage your assigned section of the kitchen and support junior staff with training and guidance.

Adapt dishes and service to meet VIP client special requests, ensuring a bespoke experience.

Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Assist in controlling costs by minimizing waste and improving efficiency.

Support the Sous Chef / Head Chef with daily operations and contribute ideas for menu and process improvements.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including correct food handling and storage.

Maintain strong knife skills and sound knowledge of culinary techniques.


Desirable Skills

Excellent command of English (written and spoken). English is the working language of the company and is essential for internal and external communication; German preferred.

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie (3+ years) in high‑volume kitchens; airline catering or large‑scale food production is a strong plus.

Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognised culinary school.

Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Highly organised, efficient, and detail‑oriented.

Passion for culinary excellence and an ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.

Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work different shifts (early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays).

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
