As Engineering Manager for People & Processes in our Retail Platform domain, you'll take the lead on building an environment where our product teams can thrive. Your mission: to empower engineers, ensure operational excellence, and shape processes that help us scale reliably and sustainably.
Your Tasks
* Guide and support software engineers across multiple backend teams, fostering engagement, professional growth, and effective collaboration
* Drive capacity planning and hiring in close collaboration with Recruiting and other stakeholders
* Improve and evolve development processes that balance speed, quality, and team health
* Enable seamless collaboration between Product Managers and Engineers
* Facilitate alignment with other business units and foster a culture of cross-team support
* Promote psychological safety, inclusivity, and open feedback within the team
* Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), ensuring reliability, performance, and secure operations
What you bring
* Prior experience as a Software Engineer and deep understanding of modern engineering practices
* Several years of experience managing engineering teams – ideally distributed and cross-functional
* A passion for helping people grow, with a coaching-first leadership approach
* Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
* A process-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and remove bottlenecks
* Familiarity with agile principles and how to apply them pragmatically
* A hands-on attitude combined with a drive to continuously improve teams and systems
