As part of Leonardo, Kopter develops the AW09, a next-generation single-engine helicopter with the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity, and modern electronic systems. The AW09 offers the latest safety standards, enhanced performance, and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter aims to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and a hub for innovative technologies, including hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. The team of 320 talented members is based mainly in Switzerland, near Zurich and Mollis (Canton of Glarus).
Your responsibilities
Ensure consistency and effectiveness in end-user support processes, serving as the local digital point of contact (Service Desk) for all user needs, including support in using new tech or services.
Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues for end-users, including those working remotely or in offices.
Manage endpoints (computers, smartphones, printers, etc.) throughout their lifecycle, including hardware maintenance, software upgrades, and data integrity during migrations.
Collaborate with remote specialists (e.g., SCCM experts) on networking and endpoint tasks.
Document and update knowledge base articles and support procedures.
Use ServiceNow to track, resolve, and report digital issues to the broader Digital Solutions Team.
Identify process improvement opportunities and provide feedback to enhance service delivery.
Travel weekly within Switzerland and on-demand in Germany to provide onsite support.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to security, confidentiality, and company standards.
Have basic SAP knowledge.
Proven experience of at least 2 years in an IT-related environment.
Experience with AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, command line.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher (verbal and written).
German language skills are a plus.
