We are seeking a passionate, customer-focused Kitchen Sous-Chef from September to December 2025 to join our dynamic kitchen team. Your role will support the academic needs of the Ecole Ducasse program at Les Roches Crans-Montana and involve opening a new pop-up restaurant for four months.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the smooth operation of the pop-up restaurant opening.
2. Master recipes and techniques to prepare and serve menus, ensuring high quality and consistency.
3. Use kitchen equipment correctly and safely, maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
4. Organize storage areas and oversee inventory management.
5. Maintain food quality standards and adhere to HACCP guidelines.
6. Assist Kitchen Instructors in guiding and supporting students and trainees during meal preparation and service.
7. Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment, promoting high morale and teamwork.
Requirements & Skills:
1. CFC Culinary Arts diploma (CFC Cuisinier-ère) or equivalent.
2. Preferably 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
4. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Fluency in English is mandatory; French is a plus.
7. Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland.
8. Customer-focused with a passion for culinary excellence.
9. Team player with a collaborative attitude.
10. Organizational skills with attention to detail.
11. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
12. Proactive, flexible, and autonomous when necessary.
