Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all distributed products comply with client suitability and distribution standards.
Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear governance frameworks.
Analyze regulatory changes, assess their business impact, and propose compliant product solutions.
Act as Product Owner within an Agile development team, prioritizing features and user stories.
Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and user testing.
Maintain accurate documentation of workflows, user stories, and processes in JIRA and Confluence.
Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry with exposure to:
Product governance and regulatory projects
Trading, risk, and/or product issuance across structured products and derivatives
Proven experience as a Product Owner, including:
Managing product backlogs and writing clear user stories
Working within Agile methodologies
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Agile project management practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of translating complex regulatory issues into practical business outcomes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or SAFe/Scrum certifications.
Strong understanding of client suitability frameworks, ESG mandates, and global regulatory requirements.
