Tasks
* Technically and commercially leading product development projects from initial conceptualization through to release in high-volume manufacturing in close collaboration with customers, sales team, engineering team, and operations
* Directly manage customer communication and relationships
* Understand the customer needs, plan, coordinate, and drive customer projects to production ensuring product performance and costs
* Regularly briefing of internal and external stakeholders regarding project progress and milestones
* Manage the critical path of the project and key project risks
* Regularly briefing of internal and external stakeholders regarding project progress and milestones
* Responsible for portfolio KPIs and reporting them to management
* Lead and develop direct reports
Requirements
* Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, physics, photonics or related fields
* At least 5 years of experience in project management in high tech industry (preferably in opto- / electro-mechanical systems)
* Inspiring leader with at least 2 years of experience in guiding teams
* Demonstrated ability to think multidimensional when planning, managing teams and projects
* Excellent communication skills, hands on and pragmatic
* Experience with PM tools (Monday, Jira, MS Project) preferred
* Ready to travel up to 20%
