Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Data Product Manager as part of our Data Strategy and Operations team.
This role will report into the Senior Data Product Manager.

As part of our growing IMSC Data Strategy and operations team, you will be responsible for defining, building, and managing data products, acting as a bridge between data teams and other stakeholders. These Data Products are in line with our overall IMSC Data strategy aimed at simplifying the existing data landscape, building foundational data capabilities, and driving value for business. You will ensure that these programs follow product management standards, fully governed and result in success in driving business value through data capabilities that support analytics, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, business process owners, and digital product teams to ensure the programs are designed with business value at their core, are accurately documented, and meet the highest standards. You will also work with executive leaders to shape and transform the overall journey.
Key Responsibilities
Lead programs to decommission legacy platforms (EDW, CV, CDM, etc) and simplify the data and technology landscape.
Define, manage and communicate product roadmaps for system retirement and remediation initiatives.
Drive cross-functional execution and Change Management across J&J IT, IMSC data, and business teams to deliver decommissioning outcomes.
Apply agile/ hybrid delivery methodologies to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
Track performance and governance metrics to demonstrate cost, risk, and simplification benefits.
Oversee product budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost optimization.
Champion technology and data ecosystem rationalization, identifying opportunities to eliminate redundancy and optimize operations.

Qualifications - External
A bachelor's or higher degree is required Focused degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field is preferred
Required
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 6–7 years of progressive experience in program or project management, with demonstrated success in leading large-scale data and technology transformation initiatives.
Strong product ownership and roadmap management capabilities, including backlog management, user story mapping, and release governance, ensuring alignment between business outcomes and technical delivery.
Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, and scaled agile delivery models, with the ability to foster collaboration and accountability across cross functional teams.
Demonstrated depth in data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and metadata management, along with deep familiarity with master and reference data practices.
Experience integrating data products across multiple supply chain systems and platforms, ensuring consistent data quality and interoperability.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, operational dependencies, and data requirements.
Proven record of managing data asset lifecycle management initiatives to enable consistent governance and adoption
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery management, ensuring initiatives remain both visionary and execution‑ focused‑.
Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communications skills, with an ability to translate complex technical and process concepts into actionable business outcomes.
Preferred
Experience in global or matrixed organizations managing enterprise-level data initiatives. Exposure to change management and adoption programs within digital or data transformation contexts. Background in regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, life-sciences, pharmaceuticals) Ability to align data initiatives with organizational goals and drive data driven decision making Ability to adapt to changing business needs and emerging technologies in the data landscape Demonstrates analytics skills and strategic thinking
