IT Network & Virtualization Engineer 80-100%

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.
What you will do:
* Design and implement advanced network concepts, including segmentation and Network Access Control (NAC)
* Proactive management of component lifecycles, including upgrades, replacements, and project-driven improvements
* Operation and maintenance of the global firewall landscape in close collaboration with IT Security
* Enhancement of site-to-site and partner connectivity
* Provisioning, management, and optimization of hypervisors and administration of NetApp storage systems, including backup portfolio maintenance
What you bring:
* Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (routing, switching, segmentation, NAC)
* Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (e.g. Forcepoint or similar)
* Proficiency with hypervisors (Hyper-V, Proxmox) and enterprise storage (NetApp desirable)
* Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam or similar), experience with Azure Virtual WAN is a plus
* Analytical problem-solving, structured documentation skills, and cross-team collaboration skills
* English proficiency is required, solid German skills are an advantage
