IT Support Specialist

Hours: 8 hours per day

BCIC Swiss GmBH | Best Connect International Company is seeking a Full-time on-site IT Support Specialist in Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
2. Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve complex AV issues as needed.
3. Communicate promptly on issue status and resolution.
4. Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
5. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, and Microsoft Office 2010. Support Cisco Jabber and basic Mac OS support for Apple PC users.
6. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
7. Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
8. Perform repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
9. Use diagnostic tools for network and hardware/software troubleshooting.
10. Have a broad understanding of IT including networks, servers, AV, smart devices, and telecoms.
11. Work effectively in project-based environments requiring flexibility and teamwork; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Valid work permit.
* Extensive knowledge of IT and computers.
* Proficiency in the local language and English.
* Several years of experience in user support and solution design.
