Your New Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining software tools to support and increase efficiency in the design of ETCS train control systems for various Swiss railway operators.
* Adjustments within our broad application portfolio, from administrative apps to simulation environments and hardware programming software.
* Designing new processes that lead to the development of new software and data formats.
* Participating in the development of new simulators, including their hardware control.
* Creating software prototypes for demonstration purposes.
Your Talents and Experience
* Studying computer science at a Swiss university or university of applied sciences from the 4th semester onward; a master's degree is a plus.
* Initial practical experience through an apprenticeship or internship is advantageous.
* Experience in C# and Java; experience in web development is beneficial.
* Solid Windows and MS Office skills.
* Independent and meticulous working style, flexible handling of new concepts and programming languages, and quick adaptation to unfamiliar software.
* Quick comprehension of complex railway safety technology.
* Start immediately or upon agreement for at least 1.5 years until the end of your studies.
