Position Overview
This role is part of the Systems Engineering team at Roche Diagnostics International Ltd in Rotkreuz, supporting medical device development.
Responsibilities
- Support the Systems Engineering team with process optimization for medical device development.
- Create and develop use cases of AI for design analysis, system performance, and documentation.
- Maintain product‑specific records such as requirements or risks using the Lifecycle Management tool RETINA from codebeamer.
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary development teams.
- Report status to stakeholders in accordance with project‑specific requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in biomedical, electrical, mechanical or systems engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, or related fields.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.
- Motivation to begin a professional career in the medical diagnostics industry.
- Clear communication skills for diverse target groups.
- Ability to build, manage, and foster relationships and networks.
- Quick grasp and understanding of complex issues, with conceptual and creative thinking.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English; German is a plus.
Position Details
- Start date: August 2026 or upon availability.
- Workload: 100%.
- Duration: 6–12 months.
