Responsibilities
1. Act as independent Finance Manager and financial leader for the assigned region, overseeing accounting functions and ensuring accurate and timely financial processes
2. Monthly Management Reporting: Lead and coordinate the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering results punctually while meeting stringent corporate deadlines
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Drive the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Analyze variances between actuals, budget and forecast to provide actionable insights to management
4. KPI Development and Monitoring: Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives and enhance operational visibility
5. Financial Ledger Integrity: Maintain, reconcile and oversee financial ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards, as well as coordination of annual audit processes with external auditors
6. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation and controls, assessing obsolescence and excess stock to optimize working capital efficiency
7. Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business initiatives, performance assessments, and annual planning
8. Intercompany Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and transparent reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
9. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage liquidity, supporting the financial stability of the business
10. Statutory Compliance: Oversee statutory returns and ensure full compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory reporting requirements
11. Statutory Accounts and Audits: Lead the preparation and timely submission of statutory financial statements and relevant audit processes
12. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment and working closely with senior management to support business growth and long-term strategy
Profile
13. Profound experience in finance, acting as an independent Finance Business Partner
14. Manufacturing industry experience is required, with strong knowledge of industry-specific financial controls and reporting standards
15. Very good understanding of statutory accounting requirements, including year-end closings and VAT submissions
16. Expertise in manufacturing controlling, incl. inventory valuation, and forecasting of revenue and EBITDA
17. Proactive mindset, hands-on and result-oriented approach with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
18. Fluency in German and English
