THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Voyage Calculation Manager, you will be involved in the core of our business from a financial perspective. You will be responsible for calculating and consolidating financial results for specific trades, participating in transversal analysis, and engaging in coordination and reconciliation projects. This 360-degree position will enable you to quickly develop skills in other finance branches.
YOUR IMPACT
As a Voyage Calculation Analyst, you will:
* Analyze and improve the reliability of financial information to make trade results as transparent as possible.
* Review and update parameters to process voyage calculations for each vessel on a trade line using MSC Voyage Calculation Software.
* Control and ensure appropriate revenue and cost allocations to calculate the financial results of voyages.
* Prepare bi-monthly reports by service for Senior Management and the liner department, ensuring accuracy and clarity to support management decision-making.
* Analyze variances using analytical reporting tools.
* Participate in transversal analysis under the supervision of the Deputy CFO.
* Coordinate and reconcile results and data within the team.
* Contribute to tool improvements in collaboration with the IT department (BI and applications).
YOUR BACKGROUND
* Qualifications in Finance or Business Management.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Finance or commercial background.
* Advanced Excel skills / Power BI.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Commitment to high accuracy and precision.
* Ability to drive change.
* Teamwork skills.
* Open-minded and flexible approach.
* Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
CONTRACT DETAILS
* Start date: ASAP.
* Location: Geneva.
* Full-time & permanent contract.
* No remote work.
* EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit required.
