About The Role
The focus of this role is to shape the adoption and value-generation of Intelligent Automation (IA) technology across the global Commercial and Supply Chain MedTech business in EMEA.
Accelerating IA Initiatives: You’ll be at the forefront of advancing IA solutions within the MedTech domain, including AI and RPA. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll ignite innovation that transcends traditional boundaries.
Use Case Prioritization and Business Planning: In close partnership with stakeholders, you’ll lead the identification and prioritization of use cases. Your analytical skills will be crucial in defining a robust business plan for IA adoption across the MedTech business landscape. This involves understanding market needs, competitive dynamics, and strategic opportunities.
Engaging with the community: You’ll actively engage with the community, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas, knowledge, and inspiration. Collaborative discussions will drive company-wide upskilling and collaboration.
Thought Leadership and Trusted Partnerships: You’ll establish yourself as a thought leader. By staying abreast of IA advancements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, you’ll contribute valuable insights. Additionally, building strong relationships with business partners and technology experts will be essential. Your ability to navigate complex ecosystems and provide strategic guidance will position you as a trusted partner.
Responsibilities
Establish yourself as a thought leader and key contact for IA/AI initiatives.
Drive the definition and progression of business use cases from ideation to business case.
Shape the framework for demand intake and prioritization of use cases.
Support business planning and funding requests for individual use cases or grouped portfolios.
Lead engagement and digital upskilling initiatives for the global community.
Facilitate connections across product and platform teams to enable AI opportunities.
Conduct business analysis by mapping out business processes and capturing business requirements and specifications (e.g., story boards, use cases, wireframes, BPM).
Manage a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors and ensure effective performance management.
Allocate resources to meet the objectives and goals of the Technical Product Management area.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and build consensus by understanding stakeholder requirements and constraints.
Ensure compliance with product development timelines and procedures to achieve organizational goals and objectives within the Technical Product Management function.
Oversee operational aspects of the team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance) to achieve team goals within established timelines and budgets.
Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
Essential Experience & Skills
Bachelor of Computer Science / Information Technology or related Business / Engineering degree.
5+ years of in-depth experience with Technical Product/Platform Ownership.
5+ years of people management experience.
2+ years of experience building Generative AI solutions with a variety of providers.
Experience mapping out business process, identifying use cases and visualizing MVPs.
Broad technology experience with the ability to lead assessments of proposed solutions and develop recommendations is required.
Understanding of the business impact of different solutions and ability to assess impact and communicate the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, timelines, costs, and risks.
Preferred Experience & Skills
Knowledge of the Healthcare / Life Sciences environment.
Understanding of Design Thinking concepts and experience leading user-centric design.
Experience with internal community building and digital transformation.
Exposure to industry thought leaders and technology experts.
Exposure to IT in a regulated environment, familiarity with IT compliance (Privacy, Security, GDPR)
Proficiency with JIRA and SDLC.
