Our client is a Swiss company headquartered in Switzerland. As part of a structured succession plan, we are looking for the CTO and Co-CEO of the group. By dividing the responsibilities of the CEO role into (CCO) Commercial and (CTO) Technology/Innovation, our client is reinforcing its commitment to being an innovation and technology leader in its field with a modern organisational structure.

Role & Headquarter
Role/function: CTO / Co-CEO
Reporting: to the board of directors
Headquarters: 30 minutes by car from the centre of Zurich
Main tasks and focus
Co-lead the group (with the CCO) in areas such as central service functions, e.g. HR, finance, strategic projects
Development and implementation of the business strategy together with the CCO
Innovation, portfolio and product development
Development of new (high margin) applications
Developing supplier relationships, especially in Asia
Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
Management of standard and customised development projects
IT/Technology and Technical Services
Requirement profile / Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in electronic component development
Minimum 3 years experience in leading development teams
Minimum 3 years experience in electronic component product innovation
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing, supporting and establishing development and manufacturing partnerships in Asia
Personality profile

Hands-on, familiar with or seeking an SME environment where impactful contributions can and should be made
