Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on and solution-oriented Pega Platform Administrator & Cloud Integrator to join our team. This role combines deep platform support expertise with modern cloud integration skills, focusing on the administration, migration, and optimization of Pega solutions in Azure. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across DevOps, containerization, integration, and performance tuning in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team of experts in Pega, Azure, Kubernetes, and DevOps. Operating in an Agile environment, the team is focused on delivering customer-centric outcomes and driving continuous improvement across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Pega Platform Support & Administration
* Provide end-to-end support for the Pega platform, including incident handling, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
* Manage platform configurations, user access, and security settings.
Upgrades & Patch Management
* Plan and execute Pega platform upgrades and patching with minimal business disruption.
* Conduct regression testing and validation during upgrades.
Cloud Migration & Containerization
* Lead the migration of Pega solutions from on-premises to Azure Cloud using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
* Design and implement containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
Release Management & Deployment
* Define and manage deployment pipelines for Pega rules, databases, and non-Pega packages.
* Standardize and automate deployment processes in collaboration with development and operations teams.
Integration Engineering
* Develop and maintain microservices using advanced Java frameworks or Python.
* Integrate Pega with IBM MQ and REST/SOAP APIs (internal and external).
* Handle large file integrations and streaming services (e.g., Kafka, Confluent).
Database Optimization
* Optimize Oracle database performance and address platform-specific bottlenecks.
* Maintain a high-level understanding of Pega's database dependencies.
Azure DevOps & Infrastructure Automation
* Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
* Monitor and manage infrastructure health and performance.
Monitoring & Security
* Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system reliability.
* Identify and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain compliance and security standards.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
* Analyze existing systems to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
