You will work closely with and report to the General Counsel and contribute to a broad range of legal topics – from commercial contracts to compliance and global legal projects. /p pThis position offers high visibility, international exposure, and long-term development potential within a dynamic global environment. This role offers the opportunity to help shape selected aspects of how a global legal function evolves and innovates within a complex, international organization. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Commercial Contract Law (core): /h3 ul liDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (e.g. sales, procurement, services, distribution) /li liProvide pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual and business matters /li liSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of innovative, scalable contract lifecycle management processes. /li /ul h3Legal Business Partnering: /h3 ul liAct as a trusted advisor to HQ functions (e.g. Finance, HR;, Supply Chain, RD) /li liTranslate legal risks into business-oriented recommendations /li liSupport strategic initiatives with legal input, e.g. on intellectual property rights /li /ul h3Global Legal Projects Governance: /h3 ul liSupport the development of a global legal organization across regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC, Japan) /li liContribute to cross-functional and legal transformation projects (e.g. legal tech tools, CLM systems) /li liAssist in establishing legal standards, templates and best practices /li /ul h3Compliance Risk Management: /h3 ul liSupport and further develop global compliance frameworks (e.g. anti-bribery, data protection, corporate governance) /li liAdvise on GDPR and data privacy-related matters /li liContribute to internal policies, training and awareness initiatives /li /ul h3External Counsel Stakeholder Management: /h3 ul liCoordinate and manage external legal advisors /li liLiaise with authorities, regulators and external stakeholders when required /li liSupport insurance-related legal matters and claims handling /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster of Laws from a Swiss or EU University, preferably admission to the bar in Switzerland, Germany or Austria /li li3-5 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department /li liExperience in an international environment; life sciences industry/ medtech experience is a plus /li liStrong experience in commercial contract law is a must have /li liFamiliarity with compliance topics (e.g. GDPR, anti-bribery) /li liFluent in English and German /li /ul h3Why Join GC International AG /h3 pAt GC International AG, you will be part of a growing, innovative company with a global footprint.
