Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our smart devices, including SmartAntenna, Display5, SmartSwitch, and other safety components
* Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and perception engineers to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs
* Participate in architecture discussions, low-level design (LLD), and refinement processes, to ensure robust and scalable solutions
* Investigate and resolve critical issues across firmware and hardware integration layers, including GNSS validation, logging protocols, and debug port handling
* Support release management and participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives as part of our agile development cycle
* Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, test automation, and continuous integration practices
This is you
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
* 8+ years of experience in embedded software development
* Experience with embedded operating systems
* Proficiency in C / C++
* Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232) and microcontroller platforms (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, etc.)
* Experience in embedded Linux development (Yocto, OpenWRT)
* Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools like Git, JIRA, and CI / CD pipelines
* Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across disciplines
* Passion for building high-quality products with measurable impact
* Committed to clean code and best software development practices
* Willingness to travel occasionally for customer mine visits or test deployments
Desired
* Experience with FreeRTOS or NuttX
* Expert knowledge in GNSS and positioning systems
