Job Description:
Our Activity Leaders are responsible for delivering fun and engaging activities and excursions to a group of international students, following Alpadia’s innovative approach to language immersion and experiential learning. As our resident Tennis Trainer, you will work closely with other Activity Leaders and Teachers to ensure students have a meaningful, adventurous time in camp, full of learning and personal growth, while offering expert supervision and safety. Additionally, you’ll participate in camp operations such as attendance checks, helping during wake-ups and bedtime, and leading camp-wide Evening Programs.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria
* Experience coaching tennis professionally
* Experience working with children or young people professionally
* Some German proficiency (spoken B1-B2 minimum), ability to learn activity-specific vocabulary for language immersion
* Fluency in English
* High physical, mental, and emotional resilience
* Experience in professional teamwork
* High energy, enthusiasm, and comfort speaking before large groups
* Availability for 5 weeks during summer (June 28 - August 3)
Desired Criteria
* Fluency in German and English
* Experience in outdoor education or summer camps
* Driver’s license and ability to drive a minivan
* Availability during staff training in Berlin (June 16-20)
Additional Information
What we offer:
* Weekly summer salary of 500-700 CHF, based on experience
* 5 days of pre-summer staff training on language immersion, child development, outdoor facilitation, and positive behavior support techniques

* All staff must provide undergo an Enhanced DBS/Criminal Record check and provide overseas conduct certificates where applicable, along with 3 professional references.
