Backend Developer – HMI/PLC/Robotics Integration / Software Engineer – Robotics & Automation- Fluent in French and English -

Your key responsibilities:
* Draft functional and risk analyses for the software programs to be developed.
* Design, develop and maintain backend systems for seamless integration between HMIs, robots and PLCs.
* Ensure robust and efficient communication between front-end systems (HMI) and industrial equipment.
* Develop APIs and backend services for real-time interaction with robots, HMIs and PLCs.
* Collaborate closely with electrical, automation and software engineering teams to ensure smooth system integration.
* Program industrial processes according to client specifications.
* Implement unit and functional testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
* Participate in validation and system testing to guarantee compliance with functional requirements.
* Write and maintain clear technical documentation for all backend developments.
* Provide support and ongoing maintenance for deployed systems worldwide.
Your profile (ideally):
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
* 3–5 years of experience in backend development, ideally in an industrial environment.
* Strong background in integrating industrial systems, including HMIs, robots, and PLCs.
* Solid command of C#, .NET frameworks and Visual Studio.
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, etc.).
* Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
* Proficient in version control tools (e.g., Git).
* Analytical mindset, with a high level of rigor and problem-solving autonomy.
* Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
* Fluent in spoken and written English (international work environment).
