System Engineer/Administrator

For the Pharma Manufacturing and Packaging Site Kaiseraugst they are looking for a motivated, open minded and technical skilled System Engineer/Administrator.
The Perfect Candidate:
The perfect candidate is an IT professional with essential experience in MES, PI, SCADA, and PCS system administration within a manufacturing environment, complemented by knowledge of Windows OS and Computerized System Validation. They must be a service-oriented team player, capable of supporting and enhancing infrastructure, resolving incidents, and participating in small projects. Ideally, this individual also possesses desirable GMP experience and has a relevant IT apprenticeship or advanced degree in the field.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• System-, application- and infrastructure administration in the manufacturing and packaging area
• Participate in small size projects and enhancements,
• Work together with local/global manufacturing/warehouse, suppliers and internal IT partners
• Create installation documentation based on existing templates and transfer knowledge to operating Teams onsite and remotely
• Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
• Coordinate resolution of incidents and fulfillment of service requests with multiple IT delivery partners
• Resolve or escalate problems for resolution when appropriate
• Maintain and develop process and technical knowledge
Must Haves:
• Relevant completed apprenticeship in IT area or equivalent and/or ideally an advanced degree in the IT or automation field
• Knowledge and experience in systems administration in the manufacturing area (e.g. MES, PI, SCADA, PCS)
• Knowledge and experience in Windows Server and Client operating systems
• Knowledge and experience in Computerized System Validation
• Fluency German and English is a must (spoken and written)
• Good communication skills
• Service oriented attitude, being able to communicate with our customers, also in emergency situations
• Team player
Nice to Haves:
• GMP experience
