Responsibilities:
Oversees, plans and supports execution of manufacturing campaigns in the area of microbial fermentation.
Responsible for preparing and implementing EHS, EM, operation, and cleaning risk analyses for assigned products, along with the implementation and control of measures.
Establishes timely and high-quality production documentation, including preparation and review of electronic batch records specific to the assigned production area.
Performs manufacturing activities according to cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, and making recommendations for resolution.
Reviews production documentation, manages deviations, change requests, and implements CAPAs to ensure GMP standards.
Works as a production guide in capital investment projects for building and commissioning manufacturing units, delivering input for setup, commissioning, and qualification of suites and equipment, including automation.
Prepares, modifies, and reviews DeltaV recipes for equipment and facility components.
Coordinates and supports engineering and workshop activities for campaign preparation and change-over processes.
Implements innovation and improvement projects related to manufacturing processes.
Responsible for training operators for manufacturing assigned products.
Represents the area/unit during customer audits and visits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Good biotechnology expertise and/or knowledge in biotechnical engineering, preferably in microbial fermentation; fluent in English; GMP understanding.
Strong leadership, communication, and team interaction skills.
Organized, focused, methodical, receptive to new insights, highly motivated, and solution-oriented.
Experience with MES and DeltaV as a recipe author is a plus.
